The iPad for Business - March 2011The presentation serves two purposes. First, it's answers a few of the questions we are commonly asked about business use of the iPad. Second, it is a test of the embedding functionality of Apple's iWork.com service that is currently in beta. Although we are working with multiple solutions that allow cloud data storage and access from the iPad, iWork.com has an integrated editing and publishing capability that may intimate the type of access that we can expect from app developers in the future. There are two types of link to this article content. If you click the top level Articles menu and the resulting drop-down item you will see the embedded content. If you click the Articles menu link itself you will see the page you see now. The above "The iPad for Business" link will take you to an iWork.com public content link. This Keynote presentation will present differently depending on what device and browser you are using to view it; Safari for Mac and Safari for iPad work best. Depending on the link chosen alternate browsers you may not see the control bar at the bottom of the screen. In that case simply click the slides to advance.
The Cloud For Small Business - March 2011What is cloud computing beyond the definition? At the speed I type the technology would have changed enough to make the article obsolete. So, to break it down as briefly as possible The Cloud refers to an outsourced online service. As is common in IT a few acronyms have developed ASAP.
