Apple Authorized Service Provider

Apple Authorized Service Providers (AASPs) are approved recognized by Apple as providers of AppleCare Warranty and post-warranty support. AASPs must meet Apple's stringent location, certification, and financial requirements and remain in good standing by meeting constant quality control goals. We are authorized to repair your PowerMac G4 and G5, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, Mac Pro, and Cinema Display. We repair all of the Apple desktop and laptop products for which parts are still available.

We are honored to provide AppleCare warranty service and the vast majority of repairs we perform are completed at no charge. It is important to know that not all repairs are covered under AppleCare. Examples of things that are not covered are third-party software problems, accidental damage, upgrades, and data recovery. There have also been well-documented cases of smoke damage not being covered under warranty and these repairs are at the discretion of Apple and the AASP providing the service. In the case of a computer that is visibly smoke stained internally we reserve the right to defer service to the nearest Apple Store.

You may ask, which is it? Windows or Mac? It's both! Each operating system offers advantages and challenges for residential and business use. The introduction of Intel processors to Apple computers allows us to run Mac OS and Windows on a single hardware platform. This can be done natively and with third-party software and allows us to phase migrations with lower loss of licensing investment and productivity. Complete Windows computers can be cloned to run as virtual machines on your Mac desktop.

We are energized and motivated by the innovation we see from Apple in all product lines. Devices like the iPhone and iPad and being adopted in the enterprise and are easily adopted by small businesses. Considering that the operating systems of these devices are more compliant with Microsoft Exchange (the most prevalent business e-mail system) than the Microsoft operating systems themselves (i.e. Windows 7) it isn’t hard to see why.

Apple Consulting Services

Aside from AppleCare warranty and post-warranty support, we also offer computer and network migration services. Computer migration is a process of transferring your Windows computer-based data (music, pictures, videos, e-mail, files, etc.) to your Mac and importing the data into the respective applications (iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, Mail, Entourage, Outlook, etc.).

Network migration is considerably more involved but follows the same basic premise of data conversion. In addition to migrating data line of business (LOB) applications and licensing, e-mail services, data access permissions, network services, remote access and other business-specific topics must be consider. We work as a team with the Northern Virginia area Apple Stores to provide the solutions that run on the hardware they expertly provide. Arrangements can be made to conference call or meet in-store as a first step to designing a solution built on Apple hardware.
